To prepare MS-2 OGIG members for their October OB/GYN preceptorships, Dr. Howard Herrell and his residents will be holding a pelvic
exam/birthing simulation lab workshop on September 19. This experience will help students become
more familiar with these techniques before performing them on actual
patients.
We plan to hold another workshop in the Spring for those students who could not attend this time around.

Our first lunch of the year was on August 22 in the large auditorium. Dr. Howard Herrell was our guest speaker and spoke about the field of OB/GYN as well as how to choose the specialty that fits you best.
